Action Requested: Procedures for Discipline Reporting Corrections

RE:                   Procedures for Discipline Reporting Corrections

 

 

As requested in the End-of-Year Checklist, please take the following actions to ensure timely and accurate discipline reporting for 2007-08:

 

  • On or after June 10, download your school’s End-of-Year Discipline Report 2008 from the password-protected location in the Data Center, using the directions below;
  • Make all required changes in Campus by June 13; and
  • E-mail all corrections to weapons incidents to Cindy Porter by June 13.

 

To download your school’s document, go to www.datacenter.spps.org and click on the “school” icon.  Select your school in the first dropdown menu.  Then select Password Protected Custom Reports from the “select a topic” dropdown menu.  (PC users press the Ctrl key while making your selection; Apple or MAC users turn your popup blocker off before making your selection).  Use your Campus login ID and password.  Select the file “End-of-Year Discipline Report 2008.”

 

The first section, on the “Problems” tab, is a list of incidents that need to be reviewed and corrected in Campus.

 

Click on the “Weapons” tab to review any weapons incidents.  If anything is highlighted or incorrect, please correct or complete that information in the spreadsheet or send the needed information via email it to Cindy Porter: cindy.porter@spps.org.

 

The list of possible codes allowed by MDE is listed in the “Codes” tab.
