RE: Science/Math Good Job Awards
The Science Museum of Minnesota is accepting nominations for its Science/Math Good Job Awards. The program recognizes African American Middle/Jr. and Senior High Students who have done exceptional work on a science, environment, or math project.
The first 100 nominees will receive family admission to both the museum and the Omnitheater on Saturday, February 16, 2008. Five nominees (chosen by lottery) will be invited to demonstrate their project at a Science Museum brunch event and will receive a one-year Science Museum household membership.
Nominations must be received by Monday, January 28, 2008. STEM teachers may nominate a student on-line at http://www.smm.org/sciencefusion/nominate.
These awards are being granted in conjunction with the Science Museum's 16th Annual African Americans in Science event.
For more information about the program, please contact Paul Mohrbacher at (651) 221-4745 or paulm@smm.org.
